| Unitive Consulting is a small business based out of Santa Clara, California established in 2011 to facilitate partnerships with experts in the fields of human relationships, HR, change management, human engagement, conflict management, organizational development, coaching, mediation, and people skills. Yvette Durazo, owner and sole proprietor, saw there was a need in organizations to address workplace disputes in a humanistic way, apart from the typical Human Resource process. With a mission to optimize human capital for organizations, encourage psychological safety, and enhance performance, morale, and productivity, Yvette Durazo came to Norcal APEX Accelerator/PTAC in July of 2021 eager to offer her services in the government contracting market. |

In 2021 Unitive Consulting reached out to Norcal APEX Accelerator/PTAC for assistance with responding to an RFQ they had been invited to respond to by the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). With less than four weeks until the RFQ was due, Liz Brazil prioritized meeting with Yvette and they got to work preparing Unitive Consulting with a number of items to get them ready for government contracting. Once the RFQ was handled, Liz continued to assist Unitive Consulting with government contracting registrations and certifications. When the RFP for Coaching Consultant Services was released by VTA, Unitive Consulting was ready, though proposal development and submission can prove uniquely challenging.

Unitive Consulting was contacted by VTA for an interview and within a month received the Official Notice of Intent to Award their 5-year blanket contract for Coaching Consulting Services. With the taste of success, Unitive Consulting is working towards a DBE certification as well as meeting with Liz for help with task order questions as they perform work for VTA through this multi-year award. We look forward to continuing to support their growth and working together toward their further success in government contracting.
